I think you did the right thing by changing it all, but can you tell me what an "arm iirc is?"

1 x Crank Arm, 1 1/4" (16-C-200192) = $9.75 - https://midwestbusparts.com/index.ph...oducts_id=8371

The photo on their website shows the old slotted style, but that picture is wrong. I ordered this part number and it fit my motor that looks just like your new one.

Thank you sir, but I am a bit embarrassed. What had me stumped was the iirc thing. It took me until reading your last post to figure out you weren't speaking English but "text". Since I don't know what "text" language is, I was totally lost I ended up googling it and then the light bulb came on. My family and friends know I don't text and therefore still continue to use the "Kings English". I'm an antique and know it. So forgive me for asking you to explain something that others may understand.

With my 1990 Wanderlodge sp 36, My wiper motor crank arm turned out to be 1 inch the 1.25 will not work so make sure you measure, this is the correct part number for a 1 inch crank arm Model: 16-C-200185

This fixed my problem though, I welded up the slotted grove on my original crank arm and simply re drilled a round hole. The crank arm in the photo was the one that was too long which I will now give to my dad as a spare part for his 1989 Bluebird so all is good!
