I went through this a few weeks ago after I noticed leak at Casper and got the part number (44410-1000) from my neighbor Ed on Roundtuit.

It proved to be very difficult to find the exact match as the new replacement part (44412-1045) is indeed 1/4" wider. After debating going down the path Mose did - I decided I'd try to find the original or just modify the broken housing of the original part with a new regulator.

I ended up finding the original at a Canadian marine store online and can confirm it is the correct part: Jabsco 44410-1000 at The Chandlrey Online.

On both my '95 and the '00 the part was a Shurflo 183-029-14 for about $35 on amazon. I replaced one and it fit fine. It is chromed plastic, and if you want white, the p/n endss in -18.

I bought one at Camping World, exactly like what was on mine. Simple to replace.

Default New city water inlet

My shiny chrome one I ordered from Amazon was much larger than my original so I returned it and ordered the part number read off my old original part. Well it is wrong also! They claim the original part is no longer made and this was the replacement. It looks pretty flimsy so I'm a little nervous about installing it on the coach. Please let me know what you find.

Default New City Water Inlet Needed

Is that what the small holes on the backside are for? How do you take it apart?

Hey guys, I’m reviving an old thread because I’m having this same issue. My question is, do I have to empty the water tank to replace the inlet?

Also, I took apart my Sporlan valve and cleaned it up. I thought by doing this it would prevent any water pressure at the inlet when the fill switch is off and the pump is on. Is that not correct?
