Default Newbie looking for a little advice.

Hi there all, I’ve been looking at Wanderlodges for a little while now. Just wondering if the vast knowledge base here had any thoughts, comments, etc. on this coach I’m thinking of driving to check out. I’m looking for something I (one guy) can potentially full time in.

Thanks a lot.

Justin Welcome realize lots of the folks here do not do F.B. Can you post the info on the bus you looking for another way besides a F.B link.

Hmmm, let’s see. Unfortunately I believe that’s the only place it’s listed, but I’ll try to copy the pertinwnt parts of the listing over. I have talked to the guy and he seems decent. He’s the third owner, bought it a year ago from a couple who’d had it for a long time.

Alison Automatic Transmission

Perkins Diesel Genset

The seller has more photos, just trying not to clutter things up too much. If there is something else it would be useful to anyone to see let me know and I will see if he has it.

One question I can think of already, concerning the maneuverability of the PT40 vs an FC. For those who have driven both, how much of a functional difference is it? Are there roads you would take an FC down you would not a PT? Thanks.

Being this bus is in Indiana there might be someone that has knowledge on it.

Have you looked at all the new inventory on.

Lots of water damage on the inside
Weird and deep wear on the seats and dinette. Did a tiger attack these things?
I suspect deeper issues, but it has the typical well-detailed FB description indicating nothing. $35k seems high.

Justin find out what the motivation is to sell the PT after only a year of ownership. If you decide to chase this one down get someone in your area knowledgable with the PT and the 6v engine to check out the coach for you. Probably will cost a couple bucks will be well worth the $$.

If there is an issue, even unknown to the seller, with this rig it could quickly become VERY expensive!

I agree with Andy the interior has not been loved. If that stuff that is that obvious has been abused and neglected what happened to the rest of the stuff? Doesn't start out giving positive vibes, but who knows for sure. I know a good mechanic that lives there that could go check it out with you if you are interested or in need of it. He will charge you, because he has a business working on all the local farmer's stuff and this is a busy time. If the timing is right I might be able to come down. I need to pay Shawn and his father Mike a visit anyway and could kill two Birds with one stone so to speak
