Diesel Fuel leak in Aqua Hot Bay overhead

I have a diesel fuel leak that is showing up in the top area of the Aqua Hot bay. It is in the area above the transfer switch in that area packed with split wire loom. Several of the split wire looms have diesel fuel in them and there is a general coating on everything in the area. My first thought was the return line for the AQ but I have inspected it all the way back as far as I can and did not find a leak. I also ran the AQ for a while looking for a leak.
Is there a return line for the main diesel fuel pump and is it in that area? And should I run the engine and look for a leak on a return line. It is a small leak, and I say that because I just got back from a 2400 mile run and did not notice on the trip but smelled fuel when I was in the basement area, but a little diesel goes a long way.

Check the service bay next door. My 98 LXI 43’ has a Aquahot fuel line filter in there with the associated connections in and out.
