Default Man Cave Conversion

Purchased '94 BMC last October with original interior that needed updating for tailgating purposes. The project is underway and making good progress. Check out the wallpaper. Wood flooring update is in progress

Did you strip the old wall paper and if so expand on that some or did you cover over. My friends have a 94 BMC and I think your project may tempt similar. Keep those pictures coming. You have her nice and opened up ready to work on. How long did it take to get to that point? Are you doing the bed room as well?

It took about a day (3 guys) to remove the furniture, carpet, tile and wallpaper. The wallpaper came off in full sheets after applying a spray on wallpaper remover (available at Lowes/Home Depot). Wallpaper removal was the easiest part of the job.

The walls required a wallpaper primer before installing the new wallpaper. It took my wife I about 10 hours to do the job. The bedroom requires a lot of cuts. Yes, we completely stripped the interior including the bedroom. More pictures to follow.

Default Wallpaper

We have thought about replacing our wallpaper because we have done that during several house remodels , but getting it to the point where we could do that in our BMC with getting all the stuff out of the way looks like a major job.

What we have looks nice but there are a few little glitches here and there that we don't like.

Hi Greg.
I'm surprised it took me three days to see this thread. I am VERY familiar with the view from your first picture. Looks great so far, and nice to see yet another '94 BMC on WOG.
I went through the same process you are going through last winter:

Have you developed a staple allergy yet ?

Smile updated picture album

There are some more pictures posted on the album under my user name of the 50 Yard Liner. We are still working on updates to the bus.

Have greatly enjoyed our travels so far.

Looking forward to more road trips in the future. If any of you have any information on the RV tailgating situation at Auburn or Alabama, let us know.

Thanks,
Texas BMC
