Thanks Mike.

Under the on/off green button, there is a hi/low rocker. Low would be 3 cylinders and high would be all 6. Regardless of the rocker position I only have low. I have changed the on/off and reversed the wires on the hi/low.

Mine also seems to work only 1 way - regardless of where the switch is. The only way mine works when it is on is that it kicks the Jake on when I release the throttle. It immediately downshifts to 4th and the Jake slows me down. But, I do not know if its the 3 cylinder position or if its something else? How do you tell?

If its working as it should be you can feel the difference between hi and low settings.

I'm pretty sure there are more relays in the system than just the one in the driver window spot. By the way, the jake relay is the the furthest to the rear and the highest up, and yes it's a small one. Pretty sure that one just supplies power to the system but does not control high/low

Here is a link to the install manual. It has wire diags and such.

The jake works through your engine computer, a break in any connection to the computer or from there to the jakes can stop it.

There is no difference in where the toggle switch is. It all feels the same. So, I guess I am in the same boat as you. I only have one setting working. Now the question is whether or not its the high or low?

lucky for me I was able to drive Duane's LX and both stages work on his coach. Mine does not slow down as well as his with just the Jake and the sound of the engine is quite different.

Looks like to me after looking at the wire diag that there should be voltage at the low high switch when the jake switch is turned on. The voltage should go away when it's turned off.
The low high switch simply passes voltage to the second solonoid (one solonoid for each set of 3 cyl)

Mine works so maybe we can tear into them at Shippshe
