The 300hp application used the ZF which is a class 8 SAE 3 bell housing diameter unit. 700 series MT and 4000 series are the same spec.
3208 is a medium duty or class 7 size SAE 2 housing diameter.
An adapter from SAE 2 to 3 is required to implement a ZF HP 500 to a 3208.
I have all the stuff on the shelf if anyone needs some, including a spare trans cooler heat exchanger for a SP application.

When the admins are done trashing my bus, I'll take a look at my transmission.

I am sure it is as Mike said - a 4 speed.

Not bashing your bus, just stating facts, judging by the professional install of the CAC and fan you will be way better off if they didn't fix the transmission.

Good luck with your coach.

Thanks Bob for checking in with us, and for helping us ZF owners. Hopefully this new owner will visit Precision.

One of many ZF / Bob success stories.

Unable to see transmission shifter on left console in this picture, if its a 5 speed then it is probably a ZF Ecomat transmission
