Default Dash air conditioning dryer part #

I have a problem with my dash air conditioning. As part of the fix I require a new A/C dryer. it is a black cylinder with 2 x 3/8" female "O" fittings as well as a pressure switch on it. So far I have been unable to locate a replacement. Does anybody know where to get one? I would include a picture but it is at a local shop where they are trying to locate one.
Thanks for any ideas.

Peter,

I got one at my local parts house. I don't remember it being all that tough to find. When I get home, IF I can remember, I'll look up the part number. It was a Murray part and I just went through the Murray catalog to find it. It is/was slightly different than the OEM, but nothing major. IIRC, the pressure switch port was on the backside of the new dryer and on the front or top of the old.

Peter,

The number is a Murray 33317 Filter Drier. Any decent parts house should either have it or be able to get it. Two years ago it was $30US.

John
Thanks
I took the part to my parts guys and they couldn't find a replacement right off. I left it with them and they think that they have found one, that will be delivered tomorrow AM. I will look at the Murray catelog, I assume they will have a catelog online, and see if I can find a replacement should the one the parts guys found will not work.
thanks again for the response.

Everco and Murry have been bought out by 4 Seasons (or so my reasearch indicates). The part number of 33317 worked, thanks again, so I called my parts guy and that is the one that he had ordered, so it should all work out.
