Question Rear End Diff. Fluid Change

Don't know whether this topic has come up before.

I am going to change the rear end fluid. I have a 5 gal pail of NAPA 85-140 (Valvoline). According to the Rockwell Specs it takes 32 pints (4 gal).

What is everyone's opinion on using LUCAS with NAPA 85-140? I have read some good and some bad about this. I am thinking just to add straight NAPA and be done with it.

Let me know what you use....

Thanks

I recommend fresh oil with no additives. I wouldn't add an additive unless Rockwell recommends one. If you want to spend money and think you are doing good, then spend it on a synthetic oil but leave out the additives.
