If you found the part I'd sure like to hear about it
I need a new one to

This information is from my '95 databook four years ago. It should help:

"Somewhere between 1995 and 2002 Blue Bird changed the fan drive control assembly from a two level speed control to a continuously variable speed control. 1995 vintage birds with a high/low speed fan have a Blue Bird p/n of 1858125 for the fan control module. This is a Sauer-Danfoss p/n CP508-B01-B-4S-12D-WPM/25. It is available from Berendsen Fluid Power for $275.30, less 20% for forum members. These are used on older Prevost buses, so are still available to be shipped immediately, usually from Canada. Berendsen has several offices 800-360-2327, and the call goes to the one closest to your area code, in our case, rep. Heath in Grand Rapids, MI, direct 616-452-4560.
For newer coaches using the variable speed controller, the fan drive control assembly is Sauer-Danfoss p/n 1090223, list price $576.07, available from Berendsen. This may take more time to obtain, say three weeks. The electronic control module piggybacked on this valve and part of the assembly is also available separately as p/n 1090222, list price $394.12, in case you have blown the electronics.

According to Sauer-Danfoss techs, you can remove the piggybacked electronic control from the assembly and use the solenoid valve alone in the older applications, if you need it in a crisis, but you are paying double the price because of the controller that you can't use and a different valve. It is also difficult to make it fit, although it can be done."

Good luck.

BB changed to the electronic model in 1997 (on at least one coach!)

That fellow is no longer there, but he had agreed to give WOG members the discount. You will have to sell the new guys on it. I seem to recall they didn't give it to someone a while back. I would promote the fact that there are over 3,000 members and that you will post it on the forum. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I suspect it is the standard commercial discount.

Bad news on the S/S thermo valve
Sauer / Danfoss sold that item back to the original manufacture in the UK
Don't have price yet but there is a 9 to14 week lead time, plus air freight at $150 to $200 or on the boat, which takes another 8 to 12 weeks
Going to keep looking
Parts guy said the valve number I gave him and the BB cross over number are not the same type valve mine is a thermostat the other isn't

Kurt, keep us posted on the price. I'm assuming the part # is still: Sauer-Danfoss p/n CP508-B01-B-4S-12D-WPM/25
