Default Door deadbolt fuse

Greetings,

Does anyone happen to know where the fuse is for the electric deadbolt circuit? The dash switch and relays appear to be working but I'm not getting power to the wires that go up into the door.

I can't find it on the circuit diagrams I have...

Thanks,

Steve Kling

take the leather cover off the wire loom on the door. I had my door open too wide and pulled a wire from a connector

Default Door deadbolt fuse

Good idea on the door wire loom but unfortunately I'm already down that path. There is no voltage at where coach side of where the wire loom connects to the door loom so the difficulty is further upstream which is why... I'm asking about the fuse...

Thanks,

Steve

did you ever consider this may be operated by grounding the unit?

Steven,
I can't answer your fuse question. Sorry.

But I would like to offer that the door deadbolt is deactivated electrically from locking or unlocking when the door is open.

There is a jamb switch on the door that is supposed to activate a relay when the door is closed to allow current to the deadbolt lock motor, to lock or unlock, only when the door is closed.

If the jamb switch or the relay operated by the jamb switch isn't working no current is sent to the door lock motor.

Although a different year and model I had to fix the jamb switch circuit on my coach first before I could get current to the door lock motor.

If I am telling you something that you already know, I apologize. I had to learn about the jamb switch and relay through a lot of trial and error to fix mine. Just trying to help shorten the trouble shooting process.

Good luck.

Default Door deadbolt fuse

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the help attempt!

Unfortunately yes, I've been through all that already. Here is another way to look at where I'm at...

When you press the lock button left or right on the dash the relays up under the removable panel in the very front of the motorhome do activate, you can hear them and feel them. Neither one of them currently does anything in terms of bringing power to the wires that lead up into the door where the deadbolt lives.

Since the switch is working, and the relays are working, thats why I'm asking about the fuse and location. I've poured over the schematics I have and I'm just not seeing the fuse or its location.

Thanks!

Steve

One more try.

I saw a schematic for a 90WB that listed the door lock fuse as SK22 in the lower front electrical panel.

Hope it helps.

I'm working on trying to attach a link.

Default Door deadbolt fuse

Thanks Tim!

Very helpful, I'll see where this leads me.

I find that electrical gremlins on the bird far outnumber other problems I have been fixing!

Best Regards,

Steve

Couple years old but did you find the issue. My deadbolt is inop from all switches inside. SK22 has voltage, but it's not getting to the actuator in the door. Wires in door have all been replaced and door plunger has been bypassed.SK22 must power deadbolt relay somewhere?

Default Door Deadbolt Fuse

Hi Kip,

Yes, I did solve the problem but I sold the Wanderlodge a year ago and I don't remember what I did! Recently I repossessed the coach but its not at my location so I can't stare at it and remember!

Best of luck to you!

Steve
