Default Blue Ox TruCenter

Has anyone used a Blue Ox TrueCenter adjustable steering stabilizer and what were the results?

I was looking at them a while back. Greg Bryant was the one who told me about the blue ox one. He had one on his bird.

Super Steer makes a similar unit to go with the safety plus unit, its says its for a roadmaster chassis so not sure if it would work:

Looks like it might be a bit more than the blue ox by the time you buy the everything.

Mine drives so much better since I adjusted the front castor that I dont think about it. I am still thinking of getting one for peace of mind just in case of a blow out on the steers..

The problem I, and others, had was electronic failure that caused the TruCenter to lockup where I could not longer turn the wheel. After several attempts I finally removed my TruCenter and replaced it with the super steer. Much, much better.

Interesting, I wonder what exactly failed. I like the idea of being able to adjust the steering, but not sure it is really practical. I wonder how much it would actually get used, or just something that really is not needed. I may just go with the safety plus and call it a day.

I'm going to have to do more research on the Super Steer but I have time. I didn't like what was posted about the TruCenter. But I'm glad I asked I dropped it off my list.
Thanks for the input. If anyone else out there has any other recommendations they would be greatly appreciated.
