Jeremy:
I saw several already made up cords at the Bontragers RV Surplus store last week. They had the ends too (Lots of them in yellow plastic).
Sorry, I didn't make a link, but you can paste this address into your browser:
http://bontragers.com/

They have an e-bay clearance store which is linked from their web site, but I'm sure you could call them and get some information or mail order action.

Actually I bought a "damaged" 50 amp ext. cord when I was there for less than they were charging for the ends. It wasn't damaged beyond repair, so I think I made out. Didn't really need it but it was an impulse buy for some future use. Got some other cool stuff too, but passed up the leather driver/passenger seat set (for now).

On my '95 the 50 Amp cord seems to be hard-wired into the system. However, in the compartment with the cord reel, there is a male socket using the same (or a very similar) plug as the one being discussed.

I was told it was a "buddy plug" to grab the output from the generator. Is this correct? Or, is it actually an input plug for an alternate shore power cord?

actually this extra plug is so you can use 2 power cords to get 60 amps into your coach, if you plug a 30 amp cord into the plug it disconnects one leg of the 50 amp cord and using a 30 to 50 adaptor on your 50 amp cord , and plugging both cords in 30 amp plugs , you get 60 amps to your coach
