When a/c was installed in the Yugo's in the New Orleans area, they couldn't even make it up the overpasses. A fine automobile

If you had a Yugo as a toad you could probably stick it to the back of the bus with some magnets. But you'd have to call it a frog then.

I know you have faith in your daughter but I would not be building ANY substantial retirement or life changing events on the future plans of a 21 year old.

They just aren’t mature enough or have enough life experience to form and stick with big plans.

Just my opinion. I don’t mean to demean or rain on your parade but think about the old saying “ the apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree””. You seem to jump from one plan to the next pretty quickly and I suspect she might be prone to the same emotions.

Again —— I don’t mean to criticize or anything else. Just trying to help.

Max.

I understand what you are saying about planning on my daughter to be a piece of this equation.
She has been looking for a place to rent with her 27 yr old fiance and her German Shepard. They can't find anything remotely safe or in their price range to rent. If I am leaving her behind, I don't want to also have to worry about her safety due to her housing. She already knows the people on this block and it is a safe area. Worse case scenario, we "rent" it to them to cover the mortgage plus all utilities. If they make it....great! If not, then we sell it or rent it to someone else.

As far as me being fickle...the main goal has never changed....to retire and move away from SWFL! Now the plans to achieve this goal have been changed a few times, based on other information I have gathered. I have stressed myself out trying to find the perfect place to move to, plus it's looking more like I can't touch my retirement $$ for a few years ...ugh!

Well we are still making progress towards Full timing and leaving this H*#*HOLE. Got all of his (9) vintage BMX bikes sold to a collector in California and I have started uploading stuff on eBay. Trying to downsize like a beast!

Freedom...here we come!

Did you decide on some kind of on-the-road income stream?

Well, he has his pension that will carry us, if need be. We plan on doing some work kamping as well as other odd jobs along the way. We are going to keep my retirement in the bank for now.
