Default Brussel sprouts and onions

Heres tonights dinner,the veggies anyway!
I take brussels and shred them like hash browns in my Kitchen aid grinder thing.
I shred up a couple of onions at the same time.
Then i cook up about a half lb of local made bacon ,i bake it in the oven until crispy,it cooks faster and no mess and it does not wrinkle up.

So,cut the cooked bacon into bacon bits and mix with the shredded brussels and onions, spread it out in a cast iron pan and toss it in the oven at 400 degrees until crispy.
(like hash browns).
Yummy!

Sounds good Randy! Even better if you throw in a couple of shredded jalapenos! I use an apple cider vinegar / honey reduction to make them pop after I cook them.

The oven is the best way to cook bacon. If you put it between 2 sheets of parchment paper, it won't stick and will keep the grease from spattering all over the oven.
