Default Universal generator

I would like to know how many coaches have a Universal brand engine, with a Fidelity brand generator. It is running great now, with over 7k hours, but for my peace of mind I want to check the valve clearance, and am worried I might need a valve cover gasket.
I understand that these are/were used in boats, as it has a water cooled exhaust.
I know that the previous owner had work done on it in New Orleans, at a marine shop, but that was BK (before Katrina), and it doesn't exist anymore. No building or anything.

Do you have an idea of how many where installed in our birds?

Steve, Fidelity Power Systems is a distributor of Kohler Generators.

Good try, but all they don't know anything about a fidelity brand generator.
And at this point, I am very happy with my combination. Plus, I guess I am the only person with this setup in a coach.
I guess I will sign in on that boatdiesel forum, just to keep up on my generator. I will also call some of marine repair shops in New Orleans to see if anyone works on my generator, hopefully for way in the future, if I need an overhaul or service on the generator end.

Default Universal Generator

Just posted that my 1990 Universal was built by Kubota.
Parts are still available.
I think Universal outsourced the Generators to various manufactures and then slapped Universal name on the finished product!

I didn't know that Kubota ever made Generators. Where did that information come from.

We tracked the serial and model number to Kabota.
There is a posting of generators and there manufacturer that Jim had posted on WOG.
Kubota made the diesel engine that runs the generator portion.
