Very true. At least her father moved back down here to be closer to her. Just hope he steps up to the plate if need be.

Some days I come home and just feel like screaming and throwing stuff...at family members.

My darling husband is having major anxiety over moving out of the house he has lived in since 1998. I come home to his rant. Just great! He is becoming a stable horse. I am a rolling stone. I have counted and I have had 27 residences that I can remember since 1971. He has had only 4. I worry how happy he is going to be rolling across the nation. He is terrified to not have an address or "anchor" as he puts it.

Come on spouses, I can't be the only one fighting this fight.

I just can't wait for him and my daughter to no longer be roommates. They are both making me crazy cause I am stuck in the middle.

Bluebird.....take me away!!!!!!!!

As a passionate sailor, I will mail you an actual anchor so you can open the door and chuck it out every time you park if it will help the situation!

I guess I kind of don't understand.
1. You are not selling the house so you do have a permanent address that you own. ( hubby has a home base )
2. You and he are moving into the bluebird and will have options of where to land. ( short or long term as it may be. You get to break the mold )

My honest option is that he is having second thoughts about dumping all the personal belongings that he has accumulated over the years and can never replace.
Solution: you still own the house. Store your things there until you have tried full timing for a reasonable period of time. ( maybe a year ) if you are both happy, dump the stuff and the house ( if daughter can't get her act together in a year she probably never will )
If not happy full timing split time between hose and bird. Time in the bird may then become the adventure to be looked forward to that you have envisioned.
Full timing isn't for everyone ( us included )

A month or two after leaving you'll be heading back to kick your daughter out of your house, so I wouldn't worry about it. I would have a couple of webcams set up to monitor the house. I am pessimistic this week, sorry.

Look in the yellow pages (do they still have those?)
in the L section you will find hundreds of pages of "Lawyers".
Look under the "divorce" section, you will find hundreds of those guys.
Problem solved.

Do you know why "divorces" cost so much?
Because they are worth it!!

Yes Fred, these are all valid points I happily brought up last night. I think once he sobers up today, he will calm the F down. He just needed to vent, apparently. It's hard to be married to a hoarder.
