sounds like they treated you well, and they obviously solved the problem. There are still some good shops with professional, they are just getting fewer and further between. I go through Longview/ marshal pretty regular. Nice to hear good news.

Hi again all. I just want to point out that the water temp stays at 170ish with AC or fan override on. This is the norm it seems. With AC and fan override off water temp does rise from 180 to 210 just as the Bluebird manual states than the fan override automatically kicks in and water temp falls to 190ish.

Just wanted to point this out so other without owner manual will know. This is during normal 60 to 70 mph driving in small hills on 75 degrees days.

Also Issac Wrecker Service 5129 West Loop 281 Longview TX 75603 where great to deal with. My towing cost was $1050 for about the 3+ hours it took them to tie up and tow my BB to the repair shop.

I hope this helps future BB owners that need overheating engine repair work.
