A small generator with a Victron Multi Plus inverter would probably work. Lots of info on their website, but basically it can be connected in a way that it provides additional power for motor starting, etc. They claim a smaller generator can be used with great results. Not cheap, but a small generator could be tucked somewhere and preserve the looks of the trailer.

Bob, you see my whole thing I have going on about 1200Ah of LiPo and a 5,000 watt Victron Quattro in my coach? She seen it. I got that all working good and getting ready to move on to solar. At home I have 30 amps and I have the Quattro dialed down to 20 amps in. It will start the A/C like that.

They sure can make up amps, big time. then when things are slow they put it all back in the battries. I'm going to set her up with four battries I think and a small victron Multi. She is looking at an Onan quite unit. She welds and plans to hang it on the rear of the frame. Make a polished aluminium cover and it's off to the races.

She got the lights on. Her friend is looking to fix or replace the propane heater and hot water heater hear in the next few days. She needs a sofa. She should be along soon to the WOG and will be in here so I won't be pinch hitting for her.

Its not my truck or trailer, but the back of that trailer is so cool,i would never add anything back there.
What i would do is put the genny in the back of the truck, and run a power cable back to the trailer.
I have an assortment of diesel generators, that would fit in the truck.
Just sayin!
I have a powertech quiet box genny out of a M380,perfect for the truck bed!

Randy, I’ll pass it on. I relayed the sentiment of the group (the bumper mount was my idea). She reminded me she carries a welder generator in the bed of her truck. I’m going to talk to her about a quite generator anyway. Might find room in the truck for it. I asked her to join the WOG. She probably will.
