I don't see where that would "slideshow" videos instead of images. Jim wants to sequentially view videos without manual intervention. I would not be surprised if there is other software besides VLC for the Mac that can do it - there are a handful for the PC - but built-in is less likely. I started by looking to see if there was a version of MPC-HC for the Mac, and that lead me to places noting that it was not, but that VLC was. I have VLC, and have used it occasionally when other viewers wouldn't handle a particular format, but I had not used it for a playlist.

PowerPoint or a equivalent will do what you're trying to do.

I can see that, although it is really designed to do it within a general presentation. It isn't free like VLC, so would only be a good idea if Jim already has it.

Jim and Don,
There is an app on an iMac, called iMovie, which I have... You open the app and then drag either fotos and videos to create a video...

Larry, certainly an option, just create one big video. I did that myself after our 2011 Alaska trip; I had, and still have, over 200 hours of dashcam video plus things like glacier cruises that I edited down into a single hour. I showed that at Q in 2012.

Thanks fellows, I just downloaded iMovie and was able to combine the dash cam footage that I had saved. I am sure what you suggested Don would have worked, but since iMovie was Apple I thought it would be easier for the ignorant.

I am too lazy and ignorant to do a professional job like I am sure Don did, but if anyone at WOG wants to see what the gravel roads — Campbell and Top of the World highways look like and how to camp in Alaska on the cheap. They can at least get an idea.
