6 quart in the house
3 quart for the bus
3 quart is big enough for two,

with the 6 quart there are usually "leftovers" for the next day.

we have a 6 qt. I upgraded to one that will also make yogurt. the original one that I had didn't have that setting. I think I might get the 3 qt as our rice cooker because I don't need my big rice cooker on the bus.

We got an 8 quart for Xmas. It's WAY too big for bus life, but it will fill the gap for now while we are still in a house, and we'll downsize when we downsize. It's wonderful, and there are a ton of great recipes on pinterest!

I use the 6qt 16 in 1 Quick Cooker from Pampered Chef. One in the house and I HAD one in the coach and will put another one in there once I am done with the remodel. Of coarse, I sell Pampered Chef products so I am a little biased.

I like it, I have done a few meats in it that would have taken much longer using other methods and it turned out good (for camping, I'm a BBQ snob). I did some mac and cheese in it, which was a weird recipe, but it worked out and only 1 pot got dirty. Some things take longer than making the same dish with other techniques. As Alton Brown would say, it's a good multi-tasker, so it will stay.
