Default Another Refrigerator Fire

Saw this one at Parliament last week. Looks like they doused it fast as the whole bus didn't go. Lots of smoke damage to be sure. I wonder if it was one in the recall serial number range.

The tarps indicate they might be planning to rebuild it, but the condition of the tarps might indicate they thought better of that. Maybe it's just there for storage as part of litigation.

We love our Samsung home-type refrigerator. Thanks to Rob Robinson and Don Bradner for leading the way. After a year we are so convinced of its superiority we closed off the roof vent and the wall vent permanently, and removed the propane tank for more storage. For boondocking, it doesn't take much power IF you turn off the icemaker, about 3 to 4 amps if you don't. Now all electric and luvin it. Sleeping better, too.

I'm with you Ron.. Love my home unit too. The scary part is I wonder how many more really burn up from those that we don't learn about?

Ron I'd love to take the credit for the fridge deal but it was all Peter Haggins doing. He researched for three years before he settled on the Samsung. Then he put one in his house for a trial. After that he put one in his bus and then one in mine. The rest is history. Just curious but how many of you guys now have the Samsung fridge????

Between my fridge driving me crazy and knowing my batteries are probably very near 'end of life'. This thread and the lithium battery one have my attention.
