Chroming is becoming very hard to get done due to the EPA shutting down the businesses. There is one in the NE, "Paul's Chrome Plating" <http://www.paulschrome.com>. I think they are in PA. And, a place in Dallas. The best one I found and most reasonable was Escondido Plating in CA <http://chromeautoplating.com>. They did a fabulous job on my wife's GTO bumpers and other small parts. There are multiple places that do the "chrome painting" process, but it doesn't look as good to me.

After having our front and rear bumpers chromed 3 different times at 3 different places, we gave up.
They started rusting after a year.
So had them sand blasted to bare metal then powercoated.
Chroming cost me $900 each time but the powercoating only cost $200.
Looking new for going on 6 years now..

I have been looking at chrome platers because I would like to get my bumpers re-plated. I am going to get my coach painted this summer.

Here is what I found so far:

Paul's Chrome Plating, Inc. - 90 Pattison Street • Evans City, PA 16033
They don't have dipping tanks large enough to accommodate bus bumpers (8ft).

Librandi's Plating, 93 Airport Drive Middletown, PA 17057
They can chrome bus bumpers, only street chrome not triple plated or show chrome.

Sandy's Bumper Mart, Inc., 120 Wall Street Syracuse, NY 13204
They can chrome bus bumpers, only street chrome not triple plated or show chrome. Got this shops name through Tom Warner

New England Chrome Plating, 63 Thomas St. East Hartford, CT 06108
They can chrome bus bumpers, only street chrome not triple plated or show chrome.

Spacecoast Plating, 975 Aurora Rd. Melbourne, FL 32935
They don't have dipping tanks large enough to accommodate bus bumpers (8ft). They come highly recommended though.

Palm Beach Plating of Florida, 900 28th Street West Palm Beach, FL 33407
At first when I inquired I was told they had 8ft dipping tanks but then later was told that they couldn't do a 96 inch bumper. It would have to be 94 inches at most. They claim to have a process of 5 layers.

Jeff...look into chrome paint. I have not seen it in person but it looks pretty good in the video's. I think I'm going to try this on my bumpers.
