The dogs were fine, but they were very happy to get home and run around in the yard tonight. Very happy. They didn't get much attention those days I was working on it.

I am taking it all apart again this weekend if enough parts show up.

Andy, Just out of curiosity I was wondering if your reservoir was vented? I read some posts that some of the early PT's had unvented reservoirs in them and there was some problems caused by them.

I had a picture of your engine bay from shippy and looked at it but I didn't see the vent.

If this was already asked I may have missed the post.

Allen - there was not a vent at all, that is for sure. I thought maybe there was supposed to be a vent through the t-handled plug, but there isn't there either. I had been filling the res like 1" from overflowing due to the massive oil loss, and there was basically no air in there to compress.
