Had a water-boxer Westy for a time; didn't like hills, but we all know what that's like.

Have you guys ever looked at Go Westy? A cool 80-100k you can go way slower than a NA FC and still not have a bathroom!

A neighbor bought a vw camper and loved it until the first camping trip when he had to drive 1/2 hr each way to find a gas station men's room because the campground rest room was so bad. I had told him he should buy a class c but he was too concerned about fuel mileage.
Oh ya, he now has a class c. LOL !!

Always surprises me how much concern people place on mileage. A bathroom is way more important

Carol and I just love those small Mercedes motorhomes, and the other types that may be dodges or fords?
The reds ones are so pretty, and you can park them anywhere.
FOR ONE NIGHT.
Then you better find a dump station and a LPG station to fill your genny tank and a case of water so you can brush your teeth!

Man,am i ever spoiled,big fuel tanks,BIG water tanks,BIG generator,BIG bed.
I think if all my tanks were combined into one,we could put one of those Sprinters in the tank!

But,the red ones are sure pretty!!

For thousands of years man has striven to make all aspects of life more comfortable and thereby live a longer, fuller life and these nitwits want to return to the days of the cavemen. Go figure.

we had 3 of them in the early 70s. A 1970 transporter. A 1969 Westy with factory attached tent option, very heavy! A 1969 Westy with popup that I transplanted a 1966 Corvair 110 hp engine and auto tranny into. It could finally get out of it's own way. They were fun back then, paid $1,000 each! Wouldn't even want one today at any price!
