It might be cheaper/easier to convert the fan motor to something else? What does that ECU actually do?

surprising cool in that box on the 450. this is tom2shoes rig. I believe heat was less of a factor in the demise. I have a theory but not proven completely. when I am shure will publish an article but not yet open for criticism.

The new pump is here and it looks right. I have a couple more fittings on backorder coming Monday. I'll get the fan spacer machined this weekend and I should have that all installed and maybe get the pump in. I don't know, it's a beast, lots of swearing this weekend. I smashed one finger so bad last week I almost let my lunch loose, but I didn't break it.

It's all good now, but I'm going to need some smelling salts before I reach in there with the 30lb pump.

FWIW I could have ordered the new fan and had the correct offset and not needed a spacer at all. Just figured that out.

It gives me a real sense of comfort that you and I have similar coaches.

Well it looks like I do need a different fan hub for sure. The original one sits down too far on the taper, and it's into the shoulder that's machined into the shaft on the new motor. I was putting it all together on the bench and doublechecking the fan placement for the spacer when it hit me.

I cannot find any fan hub to save my life. I do not want to machine one from scratch, but if I can't even find an OEM one then at least I can make a spare Maybe an LXI hub would work out, but I doubt I can find one of those, either. Gaaaah.

Parts number cross the new motor and find what bus truck applications it is used in. Maybe easier to find a hub and fan assembly .you might even try a google search of the hydro motor part number.

Greg - I spent hours searching the internet using every number or application I could find. I am just going to machine a new hub from scratch. I'll do one side in the mill, then stick it in the old manual lathe to turn down the other side. I can cut the taper on the lathe, but then I have to cut the keyway using a little creativity, but also on the lathe. The kinds of projects are rewarding, but the time.... I've been trying to avoid doing this.
