Can someone please tell me what font was used in the logos in the top corners of the webpage?

I don't think it is rocket science. Try this WhatTheFont Mobile app. I guess you can take a pic of what you are trying to identify and it will match it up. I have no idea, because I have no apps on my phone, but that is what I read when I searched.

The font is Times New Roman, but it has been manipulated rather severely. Oulined, compressed horizontally, arced.

It does look similar to Times New Roman but a close look at the basic shape of the letters such as the top of the "A" and the right leg of the "R" make me think it's something other than Times New Roman?

For Jim... with probably over 10,000 fonts to chose from, it may be rocket science after all.

I know that John Finn did a lot of work using "Microsoft Picture It 2002" but I can't say whether the font came from there or not.

If Dana just needs a basic WOG Logo and doesn't really need the "exact" font used on the home page logo, maybe one of these higher resolution LOGOs that John Finn designed would work?:

Yeah, I see that. Take a look at my quick-and-dirty attempt to duplicate it, attached. This is Bodoni MT, Condensed Bold Italic.

That's closer.

After looking at (and trying) a few hundred different fonts last night, I found a few that worked pretty well in "Word Art" but eventually they all started looking the same.

I haven't stumbled across the "exact" font that John Finn used for the home page banner LOGO but we can redo the existing LOGO with a more common font if it becomes necessary.

Hi Jim,

Last night I tried the site you mentioned and the results I got made me realize that I needed to give up any hope of ever becoming a rocket scientist.
