Some of the NA guys insist they get 10. Personally I think their odometers are off. Figure 6.5 or 7 and you won't be sad. The 88 on Craigslist?? 10?? What a howler, seller is a scammer.

Our 6 thousand mile trip last year over the Rockies and back averaged 6.7 MPG. I would think that's about what we get where ever we travel. That trip west was just as much down hill as it was up hill.

After burning around 900 Gallons of fuel in my SP, I have it figured right around 7 mpg or $25.00 per engine hour. This includes running the genny some, going up and down mountains, driving on the Midwest flats, towing a CRV and not towing. The 25 number was interesting, and of course depends on the fuel cost which was all over the map while I was burning this fuel.

I like that concept - gallons per hour. How about $/mi. I used to think we got 6 mpg but after more miles last year I think 5 is more realistic. Could be a bad fuel gauge and I've really got an extra 50 gallons in the tank (or not).

That number is about $0.50 $/mile for fuel.

I don't travel near as much as some but I figure 50 cents a mile with the turbo CAT. 80 cents with the PT...
