Last night's Prime Rib potluck -- YES, what Van says is true.

But OMG, this was the one. And such a banquet of side dishes. Yes even eye got too full for dessert!

We'll be out there in the morning - flying into Phoenix around 8. Bringing my wife to have a look around to figure out what kind of bird is going to work for us.

Any tips on getting there, where to start, or who to talk to once we arrive?

Sorry we were not there. Our 450 brake compressor gradnaded luckily in our driveway and we have been down for 6 weeks getting parts and are now back on the road. Compressor parts contaminated the oil system. Bendix compressor during those years produced had oil flow issues confirmed by Bendix which may have caused the failure.

Glad all are having fun. Wish we were there for the prime rib dinner which has been one of the best things of the get together.

Takes about 2-1/2 hours to drive from the PHX airport. Follow directions found at post #1 of this thread. Tomorrow (Thur) is Coach Tour day with coaches being open 1-3 pm. See all BB models ever made with owners being available to answer questions. If you get here earlier, start talkig to owners of the coaches
Coach Tours – If weather permits, secure your door OPEN if you want to participate. If you do not want to participate CLOSE your door. Open up your coach for others to tour. Explain changes, upgrades, etc. that have been done, or leave a write up on the dash for others to read, telling about what you have done with your coach interior. Please don't open any closets or drawers in any coaches and no pets.

My wife and I just got back to the hotel from our trip to Q. What a great way to spend (most of?) a day! Super informative, met lots of great people, learned a ton about what we (especially my wife) are looking for, and some things to avoid. Everyone we talked to were super nice, and all the coaches looked great - even the couple that we kind of talked our way inside.

I see why everyone who makes the trip raves about it. Now I wish I had scheduled a couple of days to come down and hang out, maybe go to the tech sessions and stuff.

Also - I think NoGas may have convinced me that an M380 is the way to go

Thanks to everyone who took time to tell us about their coaches and their experiences with them. Looking forward to becoming Bird owners soon.

That was definitely NOT my intention. Our M380 satisfied my vision about what it was we wanted to do with our Bird. I’d advise against settling upon a particular bird year/model until you can answer that question.

Just got home from "Q". We had great weather and amazing food again this year. Ray and Leslie put on a couple of great feasts again this year. All the potlucks had amazing variety and terrific food. Got to see my Quartzsite friends and am already looking forward to next year. Thanks to Curt and Rick for another great "Q".

^^—— What Brad said...

Just posted my last Q14 - 2020 YT video of some traditional song playing coach departures. Will be sending Rick the other stills & video I took, and encourage those who also took some to do the same. If I missed your coach, sorry. There’s always next year!
