Default Another vintage RV..........

Why would anyone do this to them selves? I guess you'd have to be cut from the same cloth as Airstream Bambi buyers.

That was my first "bus".... I pulled the engine out and set it on the workbench and rebuilt it, cant do that with a 6v92. Of course as many projects, work got in the way and I was not able to finish it. I acquired it as a form of payment from a friend of mine to re-wire his house. I got what I was owed out of if when I sold it.

It'd be a good toad were it not so expensive, but in a few days that '70 will be 50 years old. VW prices are going up fast...

My toad is a '74 Baja Buggy that's been a pleasure to pull behind my current fiberglass box...

I've thought the same thing. I'd love to have a little van to explore in. Plenty of space for extra stuff that won't fit in the FC.

Try buying an 80's fullsize Blazer or Bronco. Prices on this stuff have gone way up. I guess when a new pickup truck is $40k for a stripper this doesn't look that bad to many people.

That little van will go a ton of places our buses can only dream about.
I suppose it's a quantity vs quality type of choice.

To pricy but, I have seen Westfalia fans pay big money for them. The more Westafalia equipment they have (like the attached Tent) the more money they get for them.

It would not pass Kalifornia Smog test with that air cleaner...

I bought a 1972 new for about $2,700. The vehicle had 3 owners after me & eventually burned to the ground in Atlanta. I still have the tent in the original storage bag. If it's not full of holes I'll probably list it on the net. BTW Hemmings is a good read.
