Thanks for the great welcome. We are looking forward to using the LX a lot. It had sat unused for the last 8 years. We did batteries, tires, service the Cummins and generator, update the Tvs, new coach water pump, aquahot burner nozzle and filters and new convection micro. Amazingly the new Sharp Carousel fits in exactly like the 20 year old one. Our first trip was amazing going up hills at 70 mph at 1600 rpm. The last coach we had decades ago was a 1979 Avco 32 GTC and even with the Dodge 440 we had to use the under 45mph flashers often.

We are looking forward to traveling the Northwest of US this summer and up to Eastern Canada in August heading south with the color change in the fall. That is if Canada opens their border.
We plan to do some work on the interior tailoring it to our specifications and likes. We are debating changing to the Lithium Batteries-- the Jury is still out on our decision.
There are many features I love about the coach, solid built, stainless steel, storage areas, heavy frame, quiet and smooth ride, large shower and toilet area. The 400 horse Cummins offers outstanding performance. There appears to be a great deal of engineering detail including in the design--which I appreciate. I think it is a "classic" and will serve us well into the future.
I really enjoy reading all of your stories and hearing about issues and problem solving on the Bluebirds. All the best, we hope to meet you on the road someday.

Dear WOG

Could someone please explain what and where is "The WOG in the Fall"? We are neophytes in the RV world.
We know the meaning of WOG not the phase in its' entirety.

Ken
Sorry Ken. To used to talking to "old timers" I guess. In Oct. there is a rally in Pine Mountain, GA. The largest one in the country. Usually 130 or so coaches there and of course their owners. This year it officially starts Oct. 13 but many are there on Sunday the 10th and there until the following Sunday when most people leave, but some linger on.

Hi Ken,

"WOG in the Fall" refers to the "Wanderlodge Owners Group Rally" aka "WOG Rally"

Here's a link to a thread about the 2021 WOG Rally being held in Pine Mountain Ga this October:
