Caterpillar 3208 Solutions This sub-forum is hosted by Mike Hohnstein who has been at this kind of thing for 50+ years now, guess I'm addicted. The saga has been all about progressively larger shop space since then. Honestly, never wanted to get into the CAT 3208's that were originally considered to be a throwaway engine but that's all that works in a FC in my world. Same thing with my Ford toter, that came with a NA, too much effort to hang in a 6, so been at it with the CAT V-8 for 20 years now. In reality you can get excellent life out of a CAT 3208 if it's built correctly. Post your questions about the CAT 3208 engines here and Mike will try to help you out.

Just went through the photo album. One word: Impressive!!

I hope the next care taker of this bus appreciates the innovation, work, and hours being done on this bird!! Special note: I like how you added the CAC and how you extended the body to make room for it. Nice!

The originality and the fact is was one family owned keeps me inspired, sort of, in a way. Glad you noticed.

Ah yes inspiration . I need to find a source. A 31 FC is a nice alternative to a class C. Looks like Mike's doing the heavy lifting. Good place for the new folks to start .

That’s a gorgeous looking FC31. Love the color combo. I’m sure it’s going to be road ready when Mike’s done with it. Someone should be flying up there real quick. Wannabes and lurkers, Don’t waste your time looking for a fixer upper. Pay the money for something that is done right and also looks good as well.

It's repaint @ Wanderlodge, not sure of the year, but some one preferred blue and had the plant redo it in and out. I've dealt with enough of these old rigs to know the difference.
The fact it was used as a tailgater for a long time has helped the interior wear and tear, not mint but a lot of life left.
