Default Air lines on 1979 3208 FC33 (cruise Control vacuum Generator)

Hi, all--

I have a 1979 BB FC33 with a 3208 T. There is a small air manifold on top of the engine next to a small air accumulator tank. The air nipple on the left side of the manifold does not have an air line connected to it and I cannot find what that line is supposed to be connected to. Nothing in the Blue Box diagrams. Please see the photo attached.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your response.

That looks like the vacuum reservoir for the cruise control on my 1980 FC 31.

Yep, that's what it is but I don't know where the line for the nipple on the left goes? Are there any diagrams for this cruise control system?

no, thats the outlet for the vaccum generator, no hose goes there, and at some point you might have air come out there and if you hold your finger over it, you will build pressure and blow one of the lines off,

the vacuum generator creates a vaccum for the cruise on diesel engines where you cant use the engine for a vaccum supply, it uses air pressure to create suction vacuum

Thanks, Tim. I had been baffled by the lack of a hose connection there. Yes, I've felt the pressure and held my finger over the opening and, of course, another hose blew off. Thanks a lot for your response.
