Good news that you discovered root cause. I have a spare pulley and arm if you need it.

You guys are so cool.
Don't let the old pulley setup get away, its rebuildable if you have a press.
I have done a few rebuilds, make sure you get Timkin bearings or Cat bearings if you rebuild it.

Some time back maybe 6-8 years ago I posted the bearing numbers on the forum for that tensioner. Maybe they can be found if no one has them already. You want US or Mexico bearings not China.

Great News!
Summit Motors Medicine Hat found some bearings locally.
They pressed out the old ones, and installed the new ones.
I had them reinstall the idler pully and reassemble everything.
While the technician was under the bus he noticed a leak in a front airbag. He replaced that too (I carry a spare). By 5PM yeasterday (Tuesday) after 3 days waiting and one day in the shop I'm up and running. I'm a happy camper. Was pleasantly supprised with my first experience "boondocking" in our FC.

We got a chance to see a lot more of Medicine Hat than I really wanted but the goal of this trip was to explore Canada a little. I guess you have to take things as they come and make the best of it. Headed for Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan today.

A quick note is I never checked on Canadian holiday before taking this trip. If I were aware of the 3 day holiday I might have booked my destination campsites earlier.

I can't thank everyone on the forum for the help. It is GREAT to have a support network like this. And special thanks for the offers to ship parts ... that was unexpected (and comforting).

Kelly Mclaughlin who lives here in Medicine Hat sold his FC 31 some time back but was a tremendous help and made the experience much less stressful. All the people I met here have been friendly and helpful. I think I like Canada (and Canadians).

Jay

Moose Jaw is nice, everyone has a sun rise & sun set view because it sure is flat. Enjoy, there are plenty of lakes in SK and almost all we had visited had dry camping. Regina has a few commercial RV Parks, some are very large. One year we drove to the set of the TV show "Dog River", in Rouleau, SK it was a hoot, but since then we have heard they torn down the set.
