Question EL Dash Testing

On my 94' WB my overhead dash (Generator gauges, etc) worked but now the middle section is out. I'm wondering if there is a testing method I should use to safely see if it is just a connection.

The dash is made up of 3 panels (left, right, center) and the center is out. They appear to be wired in series from the one lead coming up from the EL inverter. My multimeter shows voltage on the wires to the button connector to the center panel.

I could use some advice on troubleshooting.
