Default Air Bags won't deflate

My coachs air bags won't deflate, it has been parked at home for about two months and was deflated and now the air bags are up and the switch does nothing? Anyone have this to happen to them?

Thanks,

Terry

Terry, I have not had this problem, but I have had to replace a couple of switches and am about to replace another. I order them through Parliment Coaches in Floriada - parts department. The last switch was made in Mexico, looked and felt real cheap cost almost $70 but so far has worked well.

Terry, try starting the coach and build air pressure...shut down and try dumping the suspension again.

Terry,
Robert is correct. The dump valves need pressure to activate and dump the air bags, however, most of us would be extatic if our coach remained aired up for two months. I am still working on two minutes.

If I put the switch in the dump position with the air system drained, then start the engine, the coach starts to rise as the pressure rises, then when the pressure reaches a certain point the dump valves engage and the coach drops down again. I suppose the dump valves age and the parameters vary a little.

Thanks, I'll try that, it has only been up for a day or two.

you could try temp unplugging one of the other switches with the same connector & using that to eliminate the switch as the problem ?
