It has actually been hotter than usual here in San Diego. We have had a monsoonal influence from AZ and NM that has increased humidity but still sunny and cool (mid-60s) at night. No rain at all in sight.

TTS,

There is no rain in sight for you guys....because it's all here in the southeast, where it has been raining steadily since late last night. We are in a drought area, so we are really glad to see this rain.

Exclamation Some Rain and a Bear!!

Howdy, Y'all.
We are having rain off and on up here in Buena Vista, CO. The temp is not even up to 70 degrees and it is 1:34 PM(mountain time). But the most exciting news is that this park was visited by a bear this past Wednesday night. It got into the dumpsters and left the trash scattered nearby. This bear left its' paw prints in the dust on top of the dumpster lid. They were the size of a bread and butter plate - 7 inches in diameter. The park owners said that in all the 40 years they have owned this park, this was only the second time a bear has come into the area.
We are having a little bit of sunshine right now but as I look to the north and northwest, the mountain tops are covered in dark clouds.

Regards,
Jack and Liz
