Default Thanks Randy

Well early this morning while I was reading WOG the lights went out.....no 12volts on the coach side. Got the schematics out, checked the breakers in the back closet nada. Got an idea I should check that solenoid in the outside compartment below the drivers window. There are two of them and they were both cold so not remembering which one was always on I called the Randolph. He told me the rear most solenoid was the constant duty and should be in his words "hotter than a two dollar pistol". I was thinking that maybe the solenoid was toast but Randy said try your AT switch. I had thought of toggling it but was reluctant due to having to reset all the clocks and radio etc etc. So I went back into the bus and flicked the AT off and back on.........hooray the juice came back on. The switch evidently needs some cleaning or replacing. I'd hate to be driving down the road and have it shut down again. Thanks Randy for bailing me out yet again.

You need a switch that is "Joey-proof".. He was probably up there barking at the passers-by while you were napping and stomped his paw on the switch!

If your 12vdc was off,the clocks needed to be reset anyway, right?
And,why does a retired guy worry about clocks?
