Default pawl style compression latches

these are the knobs that look like a lighter knob that hold the over head panels in place (alt, backup moniter, cb,) the backs are recessed in wood panel and the retaining latch does not allow for a socket to be inserted so there must be a trick 2 removing this without tearing up panel. mine is broke and have lead on replacement from southco but need to extract 1st, i can provide pick from my cell if in question. thanks

Don't know your first name but if you want information on this forum you need to tell us who you are, your coach information ( year, model, etc). The signup info was in the first info you were directed to and included various information including our rules and how to make a signature.

sometimes its easier to replace the part when you have the new part in hand, that way you can see how its assembled.
fill out your Signature and come on back!
