If your fuel tank is below a 1/4 you need some fuel son!! the gen set fuel line feeds off the main tank and it sits a little higher than the engine fuel line so that it does'nt strand you! GET SOME FUEL

Mike is right. Pull out the card and fill that Bus up. It cost no more to keep the top half full than it will the bottom half.

If you sucked air you will need to purge it fron the gennie fuel system. Since it won't start, you probably did. But check first that the fuel solenoid is pulling in when cranking. Up to this point it is an assumption that the tank level is too low.

Before I switched out my Perkins to the Powertech/Kubota I had good luck finding parts for the Perkins part of the genset at;

Wanderlodge Owners Group > Good, Bad, and Ugly > Vendors > Superior Diesel (Perkins Parts & Injector Pump Rebuild) Charleston, SC

Ken,

I started having problems with the 15k Marathon Genpack end of the generator, you can read all about it here;

Wanderlodge Owners Group > Mechanic's Corner > Generators > Finn's Transplant (Powertech Generator)

Ryan Saari purchased the Perkins/Marathon before we had the transplant completed, it had over 9000 hours on it.
