Al, I saw Mark referred to himself as "The Golf Cart Guy" but I did not know the extent of his involvement; selling or riding. I was hoping he would offer insight, which he did. Thank you, Mark.

John W., I thought the Kangacruz Aspire was kind of neat. As Jim B. stated, they are out of business.

Jayson, I did see the Cricket also.

Thank you to all who responded. I appreciate your insight and experiences.

Timothy

My observation of the mini golf cars.
I have seen quite a few in the wanderlodge group (not recently) and they get them and don't keep them long.
I think they are too small for 2 people and thats why they get sold.

great thread.

we've been watching the market closely. Used carts have become plentiful in the DC area, 2018s are $4800. Batteries another $1500. rear seat $500. Lights $500. extended roof ? Tires ? a quick $8K for used.

A new lithium 48 volt Evolution for $10K.

Duded up golf cars (a cart is something you put your golf bag in and drag around the course, so said Billy Dolan who was CEO of EZGO) are about as pricey in Augusta, where both EZGO and CC are made, though potential DIY projects are plentiful. There's a big wholesale dealer in Waynesboro, south of Augusta on US-25. I think a lot of fleet golf cars come back to Augusta. A friend of mine has a big dealership for Yamaha as well in Edgefield, SC who also has indoor/outdoor coach storage in his former mattress factory. Occasionally he has a lot of good deals as I think he sells to fleets as well and they come back in on trade.

I need a yellow 3-wheel 70s EZGO like my mother's parents had - or an '82 in light blue like we had in FL years ago - used golf car factory is out of business so I can't pick my color - but I live in hope.

At the end of the day buy from Mark if you want a cool turn-key golf car...

I had my heart set on a 3 wheeler and tried to buy John Finn’s. Then I discovered that, instead of two ramps, you need three. Too involved. I bought an EBike instead.
