We bought a sprayer at HF but it was used to put the primer on. Hubby said we would need a better gun for the real paint.
Guess no one looked at my build thread?

HF has some good cheap sprayers,i have seen some nice work come out of them.
I think Pete Haggins used one to paint a lot of his bus,and it looks good.

I didn't do the priming, he did. I was busy working the Bondo while he was priming the replacement pieces. As far as using that gun to do the painting...?.... That was hubby's call.

If truth be told, I would say he was tired of working on that Runner and knew if he painted it, it would go even longer. Also I think he knows I'm gonna be disappointed with the final product, regardless, so why not let some other guy take the blame?

Hopefully the paint comes out great, seems like you guys could use a little break with the runner.

Dave & Beth, you have no idea. Funny thing is, we bought the Runner because we wanted a vehicle we didn't have to worry or mess with...cause it's a Toyota.

Boy were we ever wrong!
