I do not know of any 87FC33 birds and I know of the only 2 87FC31, one went to Canada a year or so ago and the other is in SLC Utah area. The bird in Canada is owned by a forum member and the SLC bird I think is a lurker.

Thanks! I'll have to admit that I just haven't seen any late model fc-33's or fc-31's anytime recently.. I might have to give up that idea or be really patient..

Rick:
I started looking last August and posted in the coaches wanted section for an FC, preferably a 31 footer. I got a PM from a WOGer about one that was available in WA state. We flew up a few weeks later and drove it home to California. One of the best trips of my life. Don't give up on looking. I really like my 31 footer. It's the ideal size for us and a 35 would be too much. Mine is a 1984 but it isn't the 250 HP turbo, only a 210 which is a negative.. But I knew the late model 31 FCs were somewhat rare and decided to compromise. The sunken tub, later style dash, turbo, swing radiator, etc are all Pluses in my book for the later FCs. Mine is a rare Wanderlodge II which was a stripped down version. Mine has painted bumpers, no goat rail and no leveler jacks. I prefer simple so for me this was actually a plus as well. Good luck in your search.

We have one of the 87 FC-31's and love it.

If you are worried about size....... we camp a lot with bearmtnmartin who drives an FC-35, he has had no trouble getting around in state or provincial campsites any time we have been together.

The big boys are nice when you get them parked but the 31 is sure nice to drive. I've often thought if BB was still in business and producing a bit modernized version of what got them going they might sell some.

Seems like slides are a necessity to market a Class A but we can dream.

They still sell airstream trailers (for big bucks)
