Default Crazy morning with Parking lights

Wake up to dash headlight warming on, but the switch is on off position! Go out the parking lights are on! Turn it on and off a few times and they go off only to come on again! Any ideas? My theory is condensation is causing a short or something.

Those switches go bad. It's a GM truck part.

You can try spraying some contact cleaner in the switch and turning it on and off a few times. Contact cleaner for electronics not contacts you put in your eyes
Or get a new switch, NAPA, autozone gives you a lifetime warranty on the part I think, orileys, whichever is easiest to get to.

Part numbers are in this thread

I'm sure you probably checked this but are your batteries charged? When I am siting for extended periods of time my DC engine battery will get low. When this happens sometimes switches for landing lights etc will light up as if they are on. I simply switch the Aux battery switch to on and once the battery is charged back up the lite switches on the dash go out. I simply turn the aux battery switch back off and I'm good to go.. Its worth a try

Thank you John for responding, batteries were are at 12.7V. I have 8 brand new batteries that were charged to 13.4V yesterday when we arrived at Cattelmans in El Paso (great steaks by the way) so I don’t think the batteries were the culprit. In the last hour it stopped doing it! It was 40 degrees last night and I ran the Primus and heated the coach a bit and in the morning there was lots of condensation around the dash Windshield area! so either the switch is bad or something getting wet.

Default Crazy lights on issue continues.

Now this morning, switch on off position key out of ignition all lights off, dash lights upper and lower all on with a blue headlight alert on!

Turned switch on and off and so far nothing helps, they like to be on!
