So, changed the switch but that want it! Still the headlight warning, all parking lights outside and the dash backlight on regardless of switch positions.

Now what?

Did you check the panic switch in the bedroom?
Does the headlight switch supply power to the lights through a relay, if so, check that relay.

Does the 91 have the big panel on the front like my 96, where all the wiring is?

Yes,it does.
It may be up front,or under the floor of the cabinet in the back.
91 models were not the same as newer WB's,on the locations of some stuff.
John W may know,he has a 91.

All of the headlight/parking light relays should be up front behind the big cover.

Update-visited Lucas and Linda Willemse and parked in their drive way and Lucas trouble shooted the issue with John Wyatt’s support on schematics and we made the dash lights turn off but the mystery only partially solved:

CB 58 has two wire going to it one was feeding power back to relay 41 and powering the dash lights, parking lights As a well as head light warning light. We took that wire out but not sure what that wire does we know it’s either feeding plug 20 pin 1 or plug 29 pin 16. there was 8 volt power running through the now disabled wire which we could not trace. It was getting dark and we called a success and moved on.

Talking to John he said later he would see if can figure out where those wire go and what they were supposed to do!

In all of this we also figured I need a new transfer switch! The generator runs and generates power (the AC powered generator fan works). But no AC power to the coach. Any recommendation for a new one? Sureguard has a few with the main difference between a $200 and $700 unit is ground fault and pedestal power and couple of other additional power protection with more expensive one, and since all of these is way above my pay grade, I’m not sure what should I get!

Thank you all for your support, especially Lucas and John, Lucas who hosted us, and spend a lot of time, blood (cut his finger) and sweat, and John who supported us on the phone all day.

Hail to the Power of WOG!

Default More info on light problem

CB58 had 2 wires on it both green small #16 or 18 gauge. When one was disconnected it stopped feeding back 8 volts to K41 relay and this stopped the dash gauge lights, running lights, front parking and tail lights from coming on. I believe this 12V from the circuit breaker is feeding back thru the dimmer rheostat, this explains the 8V at the relay.
All lights functioned normally, no faults appeared with the wire disconnected and Shahin drove the coach without any problems.
The green wires go into a wire bundle that appears to go to Plug 20 and 21 hooking up the dash panel. does anyone have any suggestions where the wires from CB58 might go to in the dash?

The drawing on the database dated for 92 says #58 is for hazards/rear directional lights

Here is the diagram I am talking about:
https://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.c...ER%20FRONT.pdf

I would check the wiring on the engine hatch at the rear.. I know on the PT's bluebird soldered the wires together in a T so that they could feed the left and right brake lights etc. and over time the insulation they put on them shrinks back and causes the wires to touch one another. Mine was doing all kinds of funny stuff when you had the lights on.. just a thought.. this might be where its back feeding from something in the bundle..
