Default DDec I Drawing 1333566 6-23-87

A copy of the Drawing 1333566 was made at our local STAPLES store and mailed to KC about 3 years ago shortly after a phone conversation with KC.

Most likely that very copy of DWG 1333566, still exists in the BLUE BOX of PASTURE PRIME now owned by Alan Fink & Sally Carlson-Fink of Waupun, WI.

The original copy of DWG 1333566 went with our former 88 WB, now owned by Matt Rivard of Gladstone, Missouri.

Unfortunately, I never sent a copy to Mr. Finn for scanning.

KC, the good NEWS is I located my 'hardcopy' MASTER WIRING CHASSIS DIAGRAM, DDEC 1, 8V92!!!! Drawing by BLUE BIRD BODY CO. released 6-23-87; DRAWING 1333566.

It appears the ECM used in the DDEC I used Motorola components and some OTS (Off The Shelf) hardware used in late 80s GM vehicles.

Default DDEC One Schematic

DDEC I controls the timing and amount of fuel injected into each cylinder. The system also monitors several engine functions using various sensors that send electrical signals to the main Electronic Control Module (ECM). The ECM uses this information to send a command pulse to the Electronic Distributor Unit (EDU). The EDU functions as the high current switching unit for actuation of the Electronic Unit Injector (EUI) solenoids. The ECM also has the ability to limit or shut down the engine completely (depending on option selection) in the case of damaging engine conditions, such as low oil pressure, low coolant level, or high oil temperature.

Default Ted Keating TKT Allison Transmission Parts

My recommendation is to call TKT and speak with Ted Keating and tell him your problem. He too is suffering from the Virus Shut-down but may still be able to help you get back on the road.

Default TCM

The transmissioninstruments.com people will only do the shift pad. Which they do very well I had that done last year. I just experienced having to replace a TCM on the transmission for out WB95 with an Allison 4060. The cost for a refurbished, new is not available, was $4650 exchange, including programming. I removed the old unit and installed the new unit. It worked great and cured the problem I had with the transmission shifting down immediately to 4th when using the Jake brake and overrevving the engine. There are used units available but I chose to go with a refurbished unit with a warranty.
