Default Latest trip

I just couldn't stand it any more. I pulled the Bird out of the barn today and drove her to Walmart. I just had to return that Kindle padded case cover my wife did'nt like. Yeah it took about 2 hours to drive 5 miles, had to turn on the TV and the sat dish and have a burger from Sonic conveniently located next to Sam Walton National Park. Brewed a cup of coffee with real cream. Decadent. My son drove by and saw me in the parking lot and stopped to ask what’s up with the Bird?. Son, she’s just stretching her wings. I had to adjust all the mirrors and tune the radio, I wanted to reset the fuel gage but did'nt have the correct tools. Opened the engine bay and thanked god that the alternator is'nt dripping and just stood there and dreamed about the next trip. Winter doldrums, It was short lived, but it was enough

Winter is rough on lots of us. Our 6 weeks in Florida was great but 2 weeks at home wiped it out.

Homes are cheap in Arizona right now guys. Dirt cheap. You can find a home 5-7 years old for well under $100k. Use the home in the winter and rent it out the other 5-7 months. It could cover the mortgage for the entire year. I have a few rental properties and I always rent them out less than 2 weeks after the previous tenant moves out. I have a great property manager I can refer you to.

Just something to think about. I made a promise when I got out of the service that I would never be cold again. I first lived in Florida after I got out and now Arizona. Mission Accomplished!

Kurt did the same thing this weekend. Uncovered the bird and used the excuse to the wife that I had to fill up the geny tank after 4 days without power 4 weeks ago. We hit the gas station, camping world then ice cream hit the freeway for a cruze after a 3 month hibernation. Couldn't take it anymore,I gues we are ready to go somewhere

Our coach has sat since Jan 4 on the grass- with some rain. Brenda says hope we can get it moved before our Lone Star bird rally in a week

Rick,, we have not had much winter here, barley a trace of snow, but it is too much. Certainly colder than south FL.
Planning a big trip wee down south to Weathford TX,, as soon as Ernie waves.
Kurt,, what happened with the heat and air, Never got the fax.
