Ahh,thinking about all this makes me wonder what would happen if the Tag bags were separate.
Not connected with a tube.
a regulator on each side.
That would help control lean.

The bus conversion guys have been tying the HCV on the drive to the tag axle bags for years, not using the regulator setup at all.

confused yet?
Hang around,its early!

that might work to a degree,, but I Think as more pressure is put on one side in a turn, and the pressure is reduced in the other, the regulars will add pressure to low side, then have unequal pressure.

Al,
Have you checked the Pressure Protection Valve(s) (PPV)on the rear axles? I don't know but yours might have one on each side. The diaphragm gets a hole in it and lowers the bag pressure. I had a bad one on my tags.
Good Luck
Dan

WOW WOG,

some good stuff here . a week or so back I did craw under there ( not sure how you did it Randy ) scary indeed . the curb side HCV was loose and when I placed it back on the tag pressure returned to the 70 lbs .

Now you have me on the right track with the 4 th grade science maybe Iam a little low on the drive side or , or high on the curb side , I did not measure the bags only mess with ride height a bit .

Randy,

while on the road what does it take tool and wood wise to safely go under this 26 ton behemoth ?

I think you need a very large set of Cojones in your tool box to get under that thing!
