well here is todays update . we still have a slide issue . I am happy to say that communication with HWH was much better today but we still have no resolution to the slide issue .
there was a feeling that valves were the cause but it did not solve the issue . we do however now have some questions .

1. if 11.9 v is present at the valve and it calls for 12.0 v would this cause the valve(solenoid) to not open ?

2. the batteries have tested dead , but coach was running and Van felt there was enough power .

3. could the Pins be failing to open therefore not allowing the slide to open ?

I will say the folks here at alliance have been great to work with . they are determined to fix the slide and will NOT accept any money till they get it done . Van has volunteered to work on it again in the Morning so we agreed to stay again tonight and give it one more try .

Any ideas our electrical and hydraulic guys may have are appreciated since after all that is all this is thanks again

Don't want to horn in, but we live about fifty miles from Rick and if you guys end up going out to eat, we would like to tag along and see all of you.

Voltage is too low. If batteries are dead- fix that first.

I agree with Ernie. Why chase an unknown when your looking at a known problem.

Oh, there WILL be food involved. I will stay in touch Gregg. We gotta get Al rolling first, then we will get his blood pressure reduced in good-ol Tennessee.

Al- how old are the batteries? Have Van load test them. It takes a LOT of residual power to move a slide.

Al, I remember your coach having a low battery voltage problem at Q. Could the slide problem and that battery issue be related?

I agree about resolving known issues first. All my slide problems have turned out to be something else that kept the slide from operating.

I remember years ago, that we had a rally in Kerrville and there was a new 380 that had the exact symptoms. New batteries fixed the issue of no slide movement.
