Rob, to expand what little business I once had, I was invited to be on the Monaco group. One of the members posted about this and I just copied the link. Very tragic, indeed. That's all I know.

You know, its interesting to compare these pictures to the ones taken at Coachcraft several years ago when 7 I believe it was, BB's were burned up. At the Coachcraft fire every coach was easily identifiable as a BlueBird shell whereas there was a pile of unrecognizable ashes where a fiberglass motorhome (Newmar I believe) had been. All of the BB's looked like a smoked up version of a Wanderlodge shell on the production line before the interior and paint is installed.....

I remember that Liz Borg's BB was one of that that was totaled. She now has a Prevost.

Yep, we had some really good friends whose house was on the market and they were about to embark on a full-timing lifestyle. Their plans changed permanently when their BMC was lost.

NOTE FOR ANYONE NOT FAMILIAR: This fire being discussed was a city natural gas line running through the CoachCraft facility. They (CoachCraft) were just as much the victims as the individual coach owners.....

John, do you recall if that gas line went under their building? I have CRS and that has been a while.

it went under the parking lot and the building, someone call the cops about a heavy gas smell,a cop was sent out and stopped in coachcrafts parking lot,he got out and smelled gas, when he keyed his radio to report in,the static from the radios antenna set off the gas, blowing up the building and burning the coachs there for service.
